Warning
This calculator will give you an indication of permitted contributions to a Personal Pension based upon Government rules. The amounts payable to personal payments vary according to age. There is a limit to what you can pay into a personal pension based on the earnings cap, currently £105,600 (2005/2006).
Contributions of up to £3,600 can be made into a Personal or Stakeholder Pension Plan each tax year. If you contribute more than £3,600 per annum, then the maximum you can contribute is based upon your net relevant earnings (your income from work). This can include other benefits apart from your salary e.g. the monetary value of a company car. Using these other benefits will allow you to maximise your contributions.
This calculator will not apply to the old style Retirement Annuity Contracts, which have different contribution limits.
