Coventry rolls-out 50 Plus Notice account
Coventry Building Society has announced it will be extending its Sixty-Plus Notice account to the over 50s - the 50 Plus Notice account offering 6.45% AER (variable/gross pa), 5.16% net. This includes a 0.60% AER bonus for the first year from account opening. In addition, the AER is guaranteed to be at least 0.25% above Bank of England Base Rate until March 31st 2010.
Savers will require a minimum £10,000 investment and are allowed unlimited deposits, up to a maximum of £250,000.
Instant access is available, subject to a 60 day penalty. Deposits can be made in branch, by post, transfer from another Coventry account or by standing order from a bank/building society. Notice to withdraw funds can be given in branch, by post, over the telephone or by secure online message.
