Coventry raises 50 Plus eSave rate

Coventry Building Society has increased the rate on its 50 Plus eSave account - the account now paying 6.10% (AER/gross pa), 4.88% net, which is fixed for 12 months from the date of individual account opening. Corresponding rates for those seeking monthly income are 5.94% gross, 4.75% net.

Unlike many other fixed rate accounts, the account allows unlimited, penalty free access.

The account, which is exclusive for the over 50s, is opened and operated online, with a minimum investment of £1. Maximum investment is £250,000.
